Assembly
The FamilyRollo pleated blinds for roof windows are equipped with assembly clips that should be screwed with tiny screws in the window recess. The mechanism of pleats for roof windows
The pleats are operated using the handles located on the upper and lower profile. If there is a need to operate the pleat from a greater distance, you can order a control handle with a length of 100 cm.

The FamilyRollo skylight pleat can be used to cover the window in many ways. You can cover the entire glass, only the lower part, or only the upper part. If, however, there is a wish to cover a selected part of the window, the pleat can be placed even in the middle.

Roof window pleats are equipped with aesthetic steel cables, coated with plastic. Their task is to keep the entire pleat with the fabric in the perfect plane of the window. Thanks to this solution, the fabric never hangs around.
Fabric for pleats
Pleated material arranged in a harmonica gives the possibility of folding the material in a similar way to blinds. The folded pleat takes up very little space, and thanks to the even folds of the fabric, it always folds into a very aesthetic, even accordion. The materials from which our pleats are made are specialized polyester fabrics intended for their production. The high quality of our fabrics is confirmed by hygienic certificates and the Standard 100 Oeko-Tex certificate. The materials are completely safe for health and meet the global requirements for the content of harmful chemical compounds.
Cleaning and maintenance
The pleat material is covered with a special impregnation. It prevents dust from sticking and dirt from penetrating the fabric structure. You can erase most of the dirt with a school eraser, and the stronger ones with a damp, soft cloth without the use of detergent. The pleat fabric is also suitable for vacuuming with a soft, hair-like tip of a vacuum cleaner. In the case of stronger stains, the window pleats can be washed by hand at 30 degrees C. For washing, use a mild detergent intended for polyester fabrics (liquid soap will also work well). It is most convenient to prepare water with detergent in the bathtub and soak the entire pleat in it for about 15 minutes. This will allow you to get rid of the biggest dirt initially. The next step is gently soaking in water and hand washing. Pleats must not be crushed, rubbed or scrubbed with a brush, as this will destroy the material. After rinsing in cold water and squeezing out the excess water, install the pleat on the window. The pleated fabric should be dried in the closed position of the fabric folds. As a result, the fabric will continue to form pleated folds and will not lose its properties.

I always search for detailed opinions so here's mine. I ordered samples that arrived in a letter about a week after. Once I had chosen the fabric i measured the windows. Instruction for measuring was very clear to me, but I still called them to double-check. Then I ordered 3 pleated blinds and they arrived about two weeks after. The product was packaged safely and also was of good quality. Nothing came broken so I was relieved. On the site I found installation instruction that I used for mounting them on my window. Everything was really fast and simple. I'm really glad I ordered from this site and I can say that this won't be my last order from here!
