Installation
Familyrollo aluminium cassette day-night roller blinds are partly screwed and glued. The cassette of the roller blind is screwed to the glazing beads with small screws. It is important that the cassette is not screwed to the window frame, but to the strip. This is important because it means that the guarantee on the window is not lost. The glazing beads are an interchangeable element of the window and the blinds can be screwed to them. The guides, on the other hand, are glued using high-quality double-sided adhesive tape.
Operation of day&night blinds
We offer the Multi Stop system controlled with a bead chain. The chain is used for smooth raising and lowering of the roller blind and after stopping the blind does not fall down by itself. The chains are available in 9 colours of the roller blind system. For the safety of children, all Familyrollo roller blinds are fitted with Child Safety as standard.
Fabric for day and night blinds
The materials used to make our day-night blinds are specialised polyester fabrics designed for their production. The high quality of our fabrics is confirmed by hygienic approvals and the Standard 100 Oeko-Tex certificate. The materials are fully safe for health and meet the world's requirements regarding the content of harmful chemical compounds.
Cleaning and maintenance
The fabric of the day-night blind is impregnated with a special treatment. It prevents dust from sticking and dirt from penetrating into the fabric structure. Most dirt can be wiped off with a pencil eraser and the more stubborn ones with a damp, soft cloth without detergent. The fabric of the roller blind can also be freshened up with the roller used for cleaning clothes or with the soft bristle end of a vacuum cleaner. Day blinds must not be washed or ironed.

First I ordered samples, because I was curious about the blackout material. They came within a week, and I choose the blackout white after seeing that it really blocks the sun pretty well. You assured me that with the side guides, there will be no light coming inside, which was true after I installed the blind on the window.
