Lamellas are the horizontal longitudinal slats, 25 or 50mm wide, from which a blind is constructed. These classic covers fit into any décor and any interior. It does not matter if it is a kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. Their greatest advantage is the possibility to regulate the amount of light entering the room. The possibility to position them at an appropriate slant or raising them to a given height provides virtually endless possibilities. • Wood-like lamellas - are characterised by colours similar to wood and come in 25mm and 50mm widths. However, they are lighter and much cheaper, so it is a great alternative to wooden blinds.
• 50mm perforated louvres - the characteristic feature is their structure, i.e. the covering of numerous through holes. They are located in several equal rows on the surface of the whole lamella. In this way, the sun's rays penetrate the perforated blinds to a limited extent. They provide an interesting design in interiors that are characterised by a modern style and effectively refract the sun's rays without darkening the interior.

Sensational for interiors with higher humidity.

Manually operated aluminium blinds are particularly recommended for rooms with increased humidity, such as kitchens, bathrooms or conservatories. Unlike wooden blinds, these are not subject to deformation, are resistant to moisture, but are also much cheaper and easier to keep clean. The lamellas are characterised by excellent quality, they provide great regulation of daylight, and protect against excessive sunlight, but above all, they are easy to keep clean - just wipe them with a damp cloth. Aluminium blinds - cleaning.

Nothing is easier to keep clean than aluminium blinds. The best way to do this is to wipe the blinds regularly with a gentle damp cloth or dust broom. Stronger dirt will not be absorbed into the aluminium blinds, so this is again a better solution than a fabric for roller blinds or natural wood slats. To make it even easier, simply close the slats in the unfolded blind so that the effect of darkness in the room is achieved, then just gently pull the dust off the entire blind.

The comfort of use.

It is worth remembering that installation in aluminium blinds involves drilling the mounting brackets and then laying the entire blind into them. This allows the aluminium blinds to be easily removed and reattached, for example when you want to thoroughly clean the entire window. It is then not necessary to completely dismantle the blind, but simply unfasten it from the brackets. In addition, compared to wooden blinds, aluminium blinds are lighter, so tidying up the house will become considerably easier. It is also important to note that the package of a folded blind takes up 3% of its height plus 3 cm, so it is very small when pulled up to its maximum height.

Aluminium blinds vs. roller blinds.
