We offer wooden blinds designed in such a way that anyone can install the products themselves. It is enough to install the hangers for the blinds keeping the level, and then insert the wooden blinds into the installed hangers. The solution is the same regardless of the method of installation to the wall, window frame, ceiling, or the type of lamellas chosen - wood or bamboo.
When choosing bamboo or wooden blinds, it is also worth knowing that screws are not included in the blind set, as you have to choose them yourself depending on the substrate to which the blinds will be mounted, such as the wall or the window frame. How to take care of wooden blinds

From time to time, it is possible to apply a special preparation dedicated to wood products, which protects them from moisture and dust deposition, but it is important to use this type of product in accordance with their purpose and manufacturer's recommendations. Ribbon ladders are only available for 50mm blinds and help to enhance the beauty of the blind itself as well as the interior. You can choose the color of the ribbon perfectly to match the color of the selected lamellas or add character by choosing a contrasting color of the ribbon to the color of the blind itself. It all depends on the décor of the room, the nature of the styling, and, above all, your tastes.
Which lamella size to choose 25 or 50mm
The most commonly chosen blinds for the window frame are those with 25mm slats. They are smaller and more delicate making them ideal for this type of installation. They ensure that the slats covering the glass and overlapping the glazing beads allow more light into the room than the 50 mm slats. In addition, the 25 mm blinds are more convenient to control when mounted on the window frame than the 50 mm wide ones. However, 50 mm wooden blinds are not completely disqualified when mounted on a window. For those who like to put a strong character in a room, they will work perfectly. Their disadvantage, in this case, maybe the slightly more difficult to control, but it is still possible. An important aspect to check before purchasing the blinds is to check whether the window can be tilted or opened completely after installation, as the grille for 25mm blinds protrudes approximately 45mm from the window frame and the grille for 50mm blinds approximately 80mm.
When fitting in a window recess, it is worth bearing in mind that folded blinds have their own height. This is dependent on the stated height and the number of slats in the blind. This is important if the louver is to be installed over a balcony door which will be regularly opened inwards. There is then a risk that the balcony door will not open fully when the louver is raised all the way up. This situation is not detrimental to windows that are only used in a tilting manner and are very rarely opened. Then it is sufficient to remove the blind from the handles, open the window, and put it back in.
Mounting the louver to the wall allows the louver to be mounted higher, making it a great solution for balcony windows or larger glazing. In this case, 25mm louvers are recommended more for smaller spaces, while 50mm louvers are recommended for larger spaces.
