Installation
Familyrollo roof window pleats are fitted with mounting clips, which need to be screwed into the window recess with tiny screws. The next step is just to click the profiles into the clips. Operation of pleats for roof windows
The pleats are operated using the handles located on the upper and lower profile. If there is a need to operate the pleat from a greater distance, you can order a control handle with a length of 100 cm.

Freedom of configuration
The Familyrollo roof window pleat can be used to cover a window in a number of ways. You can cover the whole pane, only the lower part or only the upper part. If you wish to cover a chosen part of the window, you can even position the pleat in the middle.
Guiding lines
Pleats for roof windows are fitted with aesthetically pleasing plastic-coated steel cords. Their task is to keep the whole pleat together with the fabric in the ideal plane of the window. Thanks to this solution, the fabric never sags.
Pleated blinds fabric
Pleated fabric, arranged in an accordion, gives the possibility to fold the fabric in a similar way as in blinds. The folded pleat takes up very little space, and thanks to the even folds of the fabric it always folds into a very aesthetic, even accordion. The materials from which we make our pleats are specialized polyester fabrics designed for their production. The high quality of our fabrics is confirmed by hygienic approvals and the Standard 100 Oeko-Tex certificate. The materials are fully safe for health, and meet the global requirements for the content of harmful chemical compounds.
Cleaning and maintenance
The pleated fabric is covered with special impregnation. It prevents dust from sticking in and dirt from entering the fabric structure. Most dirt may be erased with a school eraser and the stronger ones with a damp, soft cloth using just water. The pleated fabric is also suitable for vacuuming with a soft hair-tip of the vacuum cleaner. In the case of more severe dirt, window pleats can be washed by hand at 30 degrees C. For washing, use a mild detergent designed for polyester fabrics (liquid soap will also work well). It is most convenient to prepare water with detergent in the tub and soak the entire pleat in it for about 15 minutes. This will initially get rid of the biggest dirt. The next step is gently soaking the fabric in water and hand wash it. Pleats must not be crushed, rubbed or scrubbed with a brush, as this will destroy the fabric. After rinsing it in cold water and squeezing out excess water, install a pleat on the window. Drying pleated fabric should take place in the closed position of the folded fabric. Therefore the fabric will continue to form pleated folds and will not lose its properties.

I always search for detailed opinions so here's mine. I ordered samples that arrived in a letter about a week after. Once I had chosen the fabric i measured the windows. Instruction for measuring was very clear to me, but I still called them to double-check. Then I ordered 3 pleated blinds and they arrived about two weeks after. The product was packaged safely and also was of good quality. Nothing came broken so I was relieved. On the site I found installation instruction that I used for mounting them on my window. Everything was really fast and simple. I'm really glad I ordered from this site and I can say that this won't be my last order from here!
