Assembly
FamilyRollo Day and Night roller blinds in the aluminum cassette are partially screwed on and glued. Cassette is screwed to the glazing beads of the window with small screws. It is important that we do not screw the cassette to the window frame but to the glazing beads. It matters because thanks to that solution we will not lose the window warranty. Glazing beads are a replaceable element of the window and roller blinds can be screwed to them. Side guidance are glued with high-quality double-sided adhesive tape.
The mechanism
All of our blinds are equipped with Multi-Stop system which is controlled by the bead chain. The chain is connected with the mechanism for raising and lowering the blind therefore the blind will not drop automatically. The chains are available in 8 available colours of the roller blind system. For the safety of children, all FamilyRollo roller blinds are equipped with child safety devices.
Type of fabric
The materials from which our Day and Night blinds are made are specialized polyester fabrics intended for their production. The high quality of fabrics is confirmed by hygienic certificates and the Standard 100 Oeko-Tex certificate. The materials are completely safe for health and meet the global requirements for the content of harmful chemical compounds.
Cleaning and maintenance
The fabric of Day and Night roller blinds is covered with special impregnation, which prevents dust and dirt from entering the fabric structure. Most of the dirt may be erased with rubber or cleaned with damp, soft cloth soaked in water. The fabric may be hoovered with soft hair-tip of the vacuum cleaner. Roller blinds Day and Night must not be washed in the machine or ironed.

First I ordered samples, because I was curious about the blackout material. They came within a week, and I choose the blackout white after seeing that it really blocks the sun pretty well. You assured me that with the side guides, there will be no light coming inside, which was true after I installed the blind on the window.
