How to clean Screen external roller blinds? Step-by-step guide

Due to the fact that the material feels a bit like the fabric of the interior covers, start by getting rid of dust and dirt that is visible to the naked eye. Don't do this with a cloth or your hand. Sand or small rocks can scratch the surface of the roller blinds, so this is best done with a hover. Use the soft bristle tip, which is designed for upholstered furniture, curtains or other delicate textiles in your home. Cover the roller blind and collect visible dirt with the lowest possible suction power. Remember to plan the cleaning of your Screen blinds on a dry and warm day. This way, you won't have to worry about your safety when using the hoover outdoors.

If you have noticed visible dirt on the fabric that hasn’t been picked up by the hoover (it has stuck to the fabric), use the hair removal roller. Clean the cover from top to bottom.

The second step is to prepare a microfibre cloth and a mild detergent. This can be warm (non-boiling) water with a drop of dishwashing liquid. Alternatively, a mild detergent could be a traditional liquid or bar soap. Cleaning Screen roller blinds should be done subtly, so don't rub the fabric too hard. The cloth or sponge must be wet, but not damp, so as not to cause staining or discolouration.

After cleaning the surface, leave it to dry completely. Don't open the window when the fabric is wet, this can cause damage.
