White

Symbolizes innocence and spirituality. This colour optically enlarges small interiors, making them fresh and simple. White relaxes and calms down, so it is perfect for the bedroom. This colour works very well for dynamic people, full of ideas and enthusiasm. For introverts, the pure white colour may be too suppressive and powerful. White pleated blinds will perfectly suit small interiors with windows facing north. White is often used in Scandinavian interiors, it matches contemporary minimalism. It also provides a good background, pleats in this shade will allow more freedom in the selection of other decorations.

Black

Black absorbs light and does not reflect the rays of light. It provides a neutral base for other colours. Black symbolizes the secret and visually reduces the size of the room as it works fine only in large, spacious interiors. Black window pleats darken the bedroom or living room, they can work well used as a base in contrast with bright colours. A drop of black will extinguish vivid colours, but when used excessively it will overwhelm and depress the place. This colour is best used in arrangements quite selectively.

Which colour to choose for the window pleats in the bedroom?

The bedroom should be conducive to quietness and relaxation, cool shades such as blue, green and purple will work the best for the window pleats. Natural browns are associated with the colour of wood, it should appeal to the lovers of traditional trends.

Which colour to choose for the window pleats in the living room?

The living room is a showcase of the house, its arrangement should be accurately composed. The window pleats should emphasize the optimistic nature of the decor. The shades in deep brown, optimistic yellow or fiery red work great, here. Metallic shades would match those interiors with a minimalist style. Black works well too, particularly blackout pleats in black colour will perfectly match with white and grey colour in the room.

How do adjust the window blinds to the amount of light in the room?

The purpose of the roller blinds or window pleats is not just to decorate the interior but to protect the room from an excessive amount of sunlight. When the windows are facing the Northside, very little light enters the room and the sunlight has a cold tone. Window covers in warm colours will provide the interior with cosiness. Delicate, transparent types of fabric or smooth fabric is an excellent way to illuminate the interior. The blackout pleats would make the space too dark and uncomfortable.

For windows facing the Southside, darker and more intense fabrics that would darken the room slightly would work the best (this function is very important in the summer). For windows facing the Eastside, window blinds in darker shades will be the best, those will protect the intense sun rays at dawn (this is especially important in the bedroom).
