- On what types of windows can I use the pleated window blind?
Pleated window blinds, can be mounted on most of the windows. The measurement instructions for the pleated window blinds are available on the product configurator page just above the width and the height bottom.
- Will I damage the window during the assembly process?
No, Premium pleated blind is mounted on the glazing bead and Basic pleated blind is mounted on the window frame.
The glazing bead is a masking element in which you can drill holes without losing the window warranty. For example, if your window glass breaks, a glazier, disassembles the glazing bead, replaces the glass and re-inserts a new glazing bead.
By drilling tiny holes for mounting the pleated blind, we do not damage the window frame in any way and thus do not unseal the window.
- What is the fabric made of?
The composition of the fabric is 100% polyester with a weight of 170 grams per square meter of the fabric surface.
- Can I wash the fabric?
The fabric is impregnated, coated with a protective layer. It may be compared to a document that has been laminated. You can remove dust with a damp cloth gently without wiping off the laminated coat. It is the safest to dust the pleated blinds from time to time so it will last for many years. In case of heavy soiling, the entire pleated blind can be removed, immersed in water with a mild detergent, rinsed and hung again on the window. Drying must take place in a closed position so that the pleated fabric does not lose its pleated property. Do not scrub the fabric.
- In what colors are made off the metal profiles and the mounting elements?
Profiles in pleated window blinds are available in white, silver, anthracite, brown, and veneered with a special wood structure veneer: light oak, golden oak, cherry, mahogany, walnut. The colours of veneered profiles are the most commonly used colours used in window frames. Mounting elements come in colours adapted to the profiles.
- What about the warranty?

- How to enter the dimensions?
On the Familyrollo store website, in the configurator, when selecting fabric for pleats, you can download the instructions in pdf files. If you cannot open the manual, please download the free Adobe Reader from the Internet.
- How long does the delivery take?
Maximum 14 business days but usually 12-16 business days.
Your pleat will be produced exclusively to provided dimensions, it requires precision and thus some time.
- What are the profiles made of on which the fabric is fixed?
The profiles are made of aluminum there for it guarantees that it will not corrode (rust) and thus will not stain the fabric in the future.
- Are all mounting hardware included in the kit?
Yes, there is all mounting hardware in the kit with screws.
- What is the control handle available on the store's website?
The steering handle is an extension for handling pleated blinds at a distance if access to the pleated blinds is difficult. The standard length is 100 cm. The steering handle is silver with black tips.
- How can I request a fabric sample?

- I have a window in which the glazing recess is shallower than 12 mm, which is required in the measurement instructions.
Can I still install a Premium pleated blind?
In this case, a Premium pleated blind can be installed, however, the mounting elements will protrude from the window recess. The product will work correctly
